Senior Account Manager - Seating Systems ($218M Sales)

Responsible for customer interface regarding contract negotiation, acquisition of new business, contract administration, management of quotes and securing purchase orders.  Internal responsibility included QS 9000 documentation, sales reports and projections, tracking margins and profitability. 

 

·                     Increased profit two percent despite customer request for five percent reduction.

·                     Negotiated vehicle target increase of seven hundred dollars.

·                     Coordinated efforts with a participating minority joint venture partner.

·                     Responsible for account management of the first complete interior trim package awarded by Ford to a

             single Tier 1 integration supplier.

 

Sales Engineer & Fixture Builder –  Machine Tools & Presses

Responsible for customer interaction leading to sales of car and truck body framing lines and fixtures for sheet metal assemblies.   Sales position was successor to prior employment as a machine builder and fixture builder.
